When a gangster wants to hire it for his son’s wedding, Rustom (Sharman Joshi) is forced through circumstance to sneak it out of its parking place for a while, leading to a madcap tale of morality, ethics and family devotion without becoming preaching, just like the filmmakers did in their previous films 3 Idiots and Munnabhai MBBS.
Deboo (Boman Irani) is Rustom’s untidy, grumpy father who never got a break to become a famous cricketer, while Rustom’s son Kayroze gets a chance to go to Lords in London. Sachin is never seen, but his car and the sport of cricket play a central role in the film.
